Our business

How we work

We see you as the chief executive of your life and Bloomsbury as your personal finance director.

Our passion is helping you to make wise and informed choices with your money. Since every investor has distinct values and goals, we begin our work by conducting a comprehensive initial assessment of your current financial situation and future aspirations.

Next, we perform a quantitative analysis that enables us to determine your required rate of return and how this compares with your risk capacity. From there, we design strategies that will optimise and diversify your portfolio in order to achieve your goals.

With these strategies implemented, we closely monitor the asset allocation and measure the performance of the portfolio to ensure that it remains true to your long-term goals and risk capacity.

We meet with you on a regular basis to report on your portfolio’s performance, make any adjustments as needed and to answer your questions. Through this close contact, we are able to keep you on track to reap the rewards that a scientific, disciplined and long-term approach can deliver.

We work only with clients for whom we can add significant value and make a real and lasting difference in realising their financial goals. In most cases, our clients are high earners who will quickly accumulate, or have already accumulated, significant capitalised wealth. In all cases, our clients seek to protect and grow their assets.

In order to provide a high level of personalised attention to each individual, we work with a very limited number of clients. Since we specialise in meeting the very specific needs of wealthy investors, we normally work only with clients who have, or are likely to have within the next few years, liquid assets in excess of £1 million.
