Robert Lockie

Robert has been advising clients since 1987 and has been active in the Institute of Financial Planning since 1993. He qualified as a Fellow of the Institute in 1998 and is a Certified Financial PlannerCM (CFP) certificant.

Robert is immediate past Chairman of the Institute's Education Committee and is an assessor and trainer for candidates for the CFP certificate. He joined Bloomsbury in January 2001 and is a skilled and enthusiastic financial planner who was twice part of the winning team in the Institute's 'Team Challenge' financial planning competition.

His commitment to drawing all the facts together for a truly comprehensive picture of each client's affairs led to his involvement with the development of a specialist investment planning program, concepts of which he now employs with Bloomsbury clients.

In the prestigious 2008 Money Management Financial Planner Awards Robert won Multi-Manager Investment Planner of the Year and was runner up in the Cautious Investment Planner of the Year category.

He also won the 'Directors' Pension Planner of the Year' (in 2000) and 'Estate Planner of the Year' (in 2001) categories in the prestigious Money Management Financial Planner of the Year competition.
