Bloomsbury rolls out new financial planning tool to clients

Earlier this year, after an exhuastive assessment process, we selected US based Voyant to provide financial planning software to replace our existing in-house planning system.

As well as being extremely easy to use, the Voyant tool is highly visual and makes it easier to understand otherwise complex financial planning situations. The system enables us to build a ‘base plan’ for each client, which is ‘locked down’. The client is then free to access the system, if they wish, to carry out ‘what if’ modelling by varying one or more of the key assumptions such as spending rate, investment return or gifting strategy etc.. Whatever the client does the base plan remains unaffected, and the scenario modelling can be shared with us to discuss and agree any strategic changes to the plan.

Potential clients who have been referred to us may access a basic version of the planning tool, as a means of identifying whether there is merit in working together.
