Sean is 34 and has been a trader for several years for a number of large investment banks based in the City of London. He is due to leave his current employment in a month’s time to work for a quoted hedge fund manager, which has led to his remuneration package increasing significantly.
He has recently married Claudia, who is aged 31 and an associate at a private equity firm. Claudia is originally from Austria but has lived in the UK since she was 26. They intend to start a family in about three years’ time once Sean has settled into his new job and they have finished renovating their new home in Greenwich.
